Early summer brings a carpet of wildflowers to the blast zone of Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. Indian Paintbrush and Barrette's Penstemon, growing upon the rock and ash-covered slopes, years after the May, 1980 erruption. This was taken the end of June, 2017.

Angie has dabbled in photography ever since childhood. Born and raised in Vancouver, Washington (United States), she learned how to draw and paint. It wasn't until her adult years that photography became the preferred medium. With the artistic background, some of her images are enhanced with textures to create one of a kind works of art.
