A group of pelicans has many collective nouns, including a "brief," "pod," "pouch," "scoop," and "squadron." I like alliteration, so "pouch" or "pod" sounds perfect to me! This pouch was fond in Pelican Pond (where else??) at St. Vrain State Park, Colorado USA.
